Birthday Time!!

Today is Deb's 36th birthday...my 37th will be in 3 days.

It's that Gemini time of the year again. YAY !!!

Monday evening we went over to Mom's. Deb set up her DVD player while i made us all dinner. We had a really nice visit, some great conversations and i got to confiscate Mom's knitting supplies. I'm quite excited to re-learn how to kint, but i have a lap blanket to finish off and three ponchos to make before i pick up the needles.

Going to cut this short so i can do some more work before Deb gets home. Hope everyone is well.

Happy Birthday Deb!!! And Happy Early Birthday to you Suz!!! I love birthday's. I always think about it on Misty's or my families birthdays - we get to celebrate the fact that our loved ones are here! They were born! It rocks. lol

Misty knows how to knit and crochet. She's tried to teach me but I'm just NOT good at it. lol My mom has tried to teach me also, but I guess I'm just not a knitter. Oh well, I'll just enjoy all the cool stuff you guys make. We all have our talents! Have a good one! Take care.

Hey!
I forgot to tell you that M and I are both huge Melissa Ferrick fans. We probably have every one of her CD's including a whole boat load of bootlegs (shhhhhh lol). We've been to quite a few of her shows too. I think she has an amazing talent and her songwriting is something to be admired. It's good to hear about another MF fan. Just thought I'd let ya know! = )

Ooooh, Melissa Ferrick!!!

I actually stumbled onto her/music that is, not her person...when i lived out in Massachusetts. This guy, Stephen Kellogg, used to come into the hotel where i worked to bring in the calendars for a few local music venues in Northhampton, MA. He would always offer to get me comp. tix and i'd pass up the chance. Well after the 3rd or 4th time i figured i'd better take him up on his offer before he didn't ask any more so i looked over all of the upcoming events and decided just from reading about her that MF would be my show of choice. I gave him a call, he left us tix at the door and my MF infatuation is history...thank you Stephen!!! I've seen her live only twice out East, have most of her CD's - probably missing the most recent. Love her!!

Stephen Kellogg, by the way is a wonderful musician in his own right, it ends up. He gave me one of his CD's too. It's good.

Oh how i miss Northampton!!

OH, Ya HEY!! Even tough i don't have the new/rebuilt PC back...coworker/neighbor dude hooked me up with some speakers yesterday for his build-a-loaner PC...so i can go find your music now!!! WOOHOOO!!!!

And all of this before coffee.....wow!

Happy Birth-Week to both of you (Terry and I celebrate birth weeks, even though our birthdays are December and March.) Hope that you two enjoy celebrating together. And get those ponchos done so you can get knitting! :)
