Sheesh!!

Apparently 3 of my readers are lost without me. ROFL!!

Well, ya know...hauling all of that camping gear is exhausting and it's tiring on me watching Deb do it. ;D

And then Monday we had to go out to my Mom's and do laundry because it was an exceptionally dirty camping trip since it's not rained much here...the sandy/dirty soil was in everything. Laundry took most of Monday and then we had to come home and figure out what to cook for the inmates that night and then the rest of the night was spent processing 40 boxes and 10 packages for shipment on Tuesday and then i had several outgoing today and 20+ going out tomorrow and we STILL need to go to the grocery if anyone wants dinner tonight!!

We had a doggon boil order on our water today and i forgot and made coffee with it like a nit-wit. UGH!! 3 cups later my Mom called to remind me...uhh, a bit late Mom, but thanks!! ;)

So anyway, i did manage to do some knitting over the weekend, trying to finish up Syd's poncho...but a lot of time was spent chatting with other people, learning to play a new game, playing cards with some friends, drumming/chanting around the campfire and stuff like that. I think i took more than 50 pictures with the digi cam...no worries i swear i won't post them ALL here! But i did take pictures starting shortly after we set up on Thursday and then on into Friday and Saturday of our expanding tent-village...we ended up having close to 50 people turn out this year and i can't believe the event has already come and gone...that means summer is winding down!

I'll write a longer post over the weekend when i'm not so busy trying to catch up with work stuff and reading Harry Potter and The Half Blood prince, now that Deb is done with it and came out of the bedroom crying...SIGH!!!

More coming soon...

I'm not going to ruin it for you either and I'm glad you are back. Your camping trip sounds wonderful and I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures of it. Now get to work so you can sit and knit... or read HP... well, that's a tough decision isn't it? LOL Knit or Read, Knit or Read... I need some books on tape. LOL See you later gater.

Glad that you had a good time, and even gladder that you're back .. and absolutely, catch up on Harry Potter. If you can get Deb to hold the pages for you, you could even knit and read. Then you can take care of the non-essentials like laundry and grocery shopping!

I was looking back over the pictures that are still in the camera cuz i've been so doggon busy trying to catch up with work crap and do you know i actually have two whole pictures of Alexander before he got filthy!! It was while you and Greg were setting up and i was watching him!! I have several other's of him in different states of filth...so much fun!!

I know, i know...i do need to dump those pics onto Flickr and post some here...maybe Friday.

And yes, Harry Potter is driving me mad too. Deb read most of it on her midnight shift the other night and then came out of the bedroom in tears when she was done...i wanted to kill her. SIGH!!

I'm on page 300-something. I wonder if i'll ever finish reading Mists??

The season is NOT winding down. No. I deny thee, oh evil summer-snatcher! We still have four months to go. And then, you know, Halloween. THEN summer ends.

Yup.

One daughter and my hubby read HP in a day. The other daughter in a couple of days. She was told she would not be upset by the ending and I don't know why she was told so. She was quite upset, as are you, since I just read your post on Rosie.com....Hope you finally got some sleep!

Nancy...yeah, the ending pissed me off and made me very, very sad! I'm still not over it. Took me a week from release to read it what with camping last weekend, catching up with work this week and Deb hogging the book for three of the days!! ;)

Damned Rowling... hate her hater her hate her!!!! Yeah, I cried too at the end. Have a few people asking me to divulge, but I won't. Greg thinks he knows what's going on, but he has no clue... It really sucked though!!!!!

I'm going to jump in the "I cried at the end" pool too! The ending rots and I'm afraid of what's coming in the next and final book. All I can say is it had better be a 1000 pager ending with what happens to everyone in the 'future'. Are you catching up on work? Will you be posting some photos of your camping trip? *grin*
