I'll have to post a picture later on, i just don't want to take the time right now. I want to go play with my "new to me" toy!
You know how i'm all about recycling and purchasing things on eBay or shopgoodwill.com, right? Well, Dave wasn't done. Another package from him arrived today. He really is too much! But i'm such a lucky girl anyway!!!!! Apparently Dave had purchased a new yarn swift for himself at a fiber event that he attended and when he was recently doing some rearranging or some cleaning, he came across his old swift and decided that he knew someone who would love to have it. ME!! Isn't that a fabulous idea?!! I certainly think do.
So, well if you don't hear from me for a while, it's because i have maybe 10 hanks of yarn or so that need winding and well, i'm off to go take care of that! Oh, happy day!!! Weeeeee!!!
Thank you, Dave!!!!

He's just the best thing, isn't he?
Wow... lucky you! Have fun winding!
Swifts are the best! I love mine and I am sure you'll love yours.
Hey, glad you like it! And it can be right next to you on the bed. No clamping needed.
Like yourself, I hate waste, so why not pass things along to someone you know needs/wants? It's recycling, it's a gift, it's whatever. It's just fun, for both of us. I am enjoying that YOU are enjoying it. And that's one less thing in a landfill.
Congrats! That is so cool.
AW! That Dave, his awesomeness never ends!!!!
So tell me about this shopgoodwill.com place.
Swifts are just the neatest thing since sliced bread! I finally got one when I made an unholy mess out of a 1500-yard skein of cashmere laceweight, trying to wind it off my knees. Now all I have to do is find a flat spot in the house to set it up on...
